As far as any medical debate, I dont fall for it, its not about medical care at all. The reason medical costs are out of control already is govt involvement. In 1950 you could get a housecall by a doctor for a very reasonable fee. A hospital stay and surgery we're easily paid by the patient. Now if you get a broken arm it will cost $10,000? This is obviously ridiculous, and? again designed by the govt. When Soviet style deathcare gets rammed thru, the stock markets will tank shortly after.

Our priv. healthcare system is already socialism. My dad, 79, had an operation. He is priv. pay, BCBS. HOSPITAL cost for 3 days was well over $20,000. That doesn't include surgery. In essence, he paid for the medicaid or guy w/ no insurance in the next bed. Insurance pays way more than medical services actually cost. But as my dad said today, the insurer could? tell him that he used up his services for the year. That's not true - someone ELSE is being paid for by his PRIVATE insurance.
